A range of fabrics which are essentially white with a pattern in white within them. This makes them very difficult to scan or photograph, although when you see the fabrics you will be able to see the pattern within quite clearly. These are useful fabrics as they create a white effect without being 'flat' as a plain solid white would be. Frequently used as the base for a quilt either as background for applique or as a foil to more brightly coloured fabrics, the tone on tone of these white fabrics remains ever popluar.
