Tiger Tape
Tiger Tape promises a way to hand quilt straight, even stitches and sew buttonhole and blanket stitches with the correct length and distance, all without marking. Tiger Tape is a white self-adhesive tape with evenly-spaced black lines printed across its width. It comes in four, nine, or twelve lines per inch on tape 1/4 inch wide for straight lines, or nine lines per inch on tape 1/16 inch wide for gentle curves.

Run a length of Tiger Tape across your quilt and the edge of the tape acts as a guide for long, straight rows of uniform stitches. And by using the width of the tape as a spacer, you can make straight rows of quilting as close together as 1/4 inch, or gently curved rows as close together as 1/16 inch.

Use a size 8 Pearl Cotton and a size 5 needle. The stitches on the bottom will be the same as the stitches on the top. 1/4in x 30 yds.
