Terms and Conditions

At Threads and Patches we aim to give the best service we can to our customers. The following code of practice reflects this philosophy. Do contact us if you experience any problems with your order either via email or by telephone.
Routine Workshop Bookings

Workshop bookings are not secure without a non-refundable deposit of £5. Workshops are are not transferable to another person. Workshop fees are due in full 14 days before the class (excluding clubs). Transfers to an alternative class and refunds are available up to 7 days prior to the start of the class (refunds incur a £5 admin fee or loss of deposit). The full fee is due if you cancel your class within 7 days of the start. If for any reason Threads and Patches has to cancel a class a full refund will be given. When you book a class it is deemed you have agreed to these terms and conditions.
Workshop Passport Bookings

Workshop Passsports are vaild for a term only and apply to those workshops designated 'Free with Workshop Passport only.
The following conditions apply
1. It is not transferable
2. You must book your workshop in advance (we reserve the right to cancel a class if there are too few people - less than 5)
3. If you book a workshop and do not attend for ANY reason (cancellation accepted up to 14 days before workshop) you must pay the full fee of the workshop as you may have prevented others from attending.
4. Workshops are booked on a strictly first come first served basis.

Returns

You can return anything you order within 7 days provided the goods are unopened and undamaged. We will then refund the cost of the product less a handling fee. For orders paid by credit card this is 15% (to cover the cost of card processing and postage). For orders paid by cheque this is 10% or the cost of postage, whichever is the lesser.

Complaints

If you have a complaint let us know as soon as possible and we will do everything we can to resolve the issue. If we cannot resolve it in two weeks then we will issue a full refund.

Privacy

Your personal details (name, address, email address etc.) are used for no purpose except fulfilling your order and contacting you if you wish to be on the mailing list. It is not available to any third party. Your details will NOT be passed to a third party and you will not receive unsolicited mail.

Orders


Security
Credit Card Payment Details
These are stored on a secure server and are downloaded by us through a secure system so we can process your order.

Order details
Your order details are automatically passed direct to us via normal email facilities. Credit card orders are passed via a secure server connection.

Cookies
These are only used for two purposes
1. Address details
When you "leave the store" you are asked if you wish to save your customer details in a cookie. These details are held on your machine and are entered into the Customer Details page for you next time you place an order.
2. Order details
If you place items in your shopping basket and then leave the store, the items are held in a cookie on your machine and when you next enter the store you are asked if you wish to have them returned to the shopping basket.
