Creative Framing services Threads and Patches recommends Creative Framing Services run by Barry and Elaine Leech
Meet Barry and Elaine -
Our speciality is traditionally framing needlework, (cross-stitch, blackwork, tapestries, embroideries, hardhanger, stumpwork, etc).
We also frame prints, photographs, paintings, sports shirts, medals, certificates, 3-D items and all works of art; to your individual taste and requirements.
Elaine has been a cross-stitch addict herself for over 15 years now and traditionally stretches and laces all the needlework before it is framed. She knows only too well how many hours can be spent on creating these works of art, and treats each one as if it were her own. Your needlework will be stretched onto an acid free backing board and laced with cotton. We do not use any adhesive tapes or glues in the stretching process.
Our customers are repeatedly telling us that we have been highly recommended by needlecraft shops to frame their needlework.
We have a workshop set up at home, and because our overheads are kept to a minimum we can offer very competitive prices compared to High Street Framing shops.
We have an extensive range of frame mouldings and mountboard colours to choose from, and we can offer expert advice (if required) on the selection of frame mouldings and mountboard colours to complement your work.
We also offer a selection of patterned corners on the mountboard apertures (instead of the usual square cut corners); this service is not offered by most framing shops.
