Pay an upfront fee of £20, for this you receive the pattern and fabric for one block.
Each month bring your completed block to the Saturday Sampler session to receive the next one free.
You must attend the full session with your completed block in order to get the next one (if you miss a session you may purchase the blocks for £5.00 each) You must attend in person.
There are 13 blocks in all.
You will need to purchase additional fabric to complete the quilt (either to our prescribed pattern or you may complete it in any way you choose).
Extra blocks will be available to purchase for £5, you may need to pre order these.

‘Well planned and prepared, you just walk in and start experimenting’
Start with a black piece of cotton fabric and try printing with thermofax screens and discharge paste – iron it and see the colour disappear. Then print over it, using the same screen but this time use gold and/or silver fabric paint to create a sumptious piece of textile, which can be stitched with metallic threads and embellished with even more beads, sequences, shishas or metallic organzas. This piece can be made into a little bag, cushion, filofax cover or a case for your glasses. Kits available

Barbara specialises in traditional hand quilting and quilting design. She has been teaching, writing, designing for more than 25 years, during which time she has encouraged and inspired quilters of all skill levels through workshops, demonstrations and lectures.
Barbara's vast experience also includes judging and/or teaching at quilt shows in the USA, Johannesburg, New Zealand, in Dubai, Cairo and Abu Dhabi. She has also taught several years at the prestigious International Quilt Festival in Houston and Harriet Hargrave's Machine Quilting Celebration.
