Thank you to everyone who contributed work to the exhibition, those who entered our competitions, all the volunteers who helped put the thing together and then take it all down again at the end, plus those who did demonstrations, serevd teas and coffees, manned the raffle stand plus numerous other tasks that need to be doen to make such an eveny successful. Thank you all so much, I am so thrilled that we have such a wonderful quilting community here.

Charity Auction

Our free auction was held on July 14th. Money spent in the shop between March and June was be matched by our FREE Threads and patches pounds. Our customers spent them at our Free Auction on goods from the shop and donated items. We raised money for Macmillan by charging entrance fees, teas and coffees a raffle and voluntary donations.

In total we raised £775 for Macmillan Cancer Relief and the Oncology Unit at Milton Keynes Hospital.

We stitched from 1pm -12.15 pm on the Friday and 7.30 am - 6pm on the Saturday.
